This form will file your vote with the Hastings Local Authority Planning Department.
Your Local Councils Planning Department has received an outline planning application for the Local Nature Reserve in the top of Speckled Woodland adjacent to Victoria Avenue their reference HS/OA/13/00600. This will allow a road to be driven through a large tree which is home to two separate bat roosts. This nature reserve has rare and endangered species which will be WIPED OUT! by 34 houses which would be better suited on another site.
On the 9th of September 2013 the consultation period ends and no further discussion will be heard.
The Friends of Speckled Wood Management Trust want NO development in the Woodland. This has been refused by The Local Authorities Development Management Plan. The Friends of Speckled Wood believes this is not democratic and as the government believes in Localism, the choice should be with the people from the local area.
